My induction into ODK

Today I got inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa--a national leadership honor society. It was awesome, and a great honor!

I received a certificate, a pin, and a white rose. I'm definitely excited about this society because it's prestigious. Along with my fellow students and I, there were professors inducted as well. In my opinion, it's a big deal if I'm becoming a member of a society as a student, and several professors at my school are getting inducted as professionals. It makes me confident that I can and will achieve so much before I even reach a certain age.. Pretty cool, huh?

Blue Nefertiti

 I've always had a love for French culture (I even considered myself a francophile at one point lol). So when I saw this video while web surfing, I had to share it! Some may know this artist as Celia from the French group Les Nubians. I just think that this is such an amazing song. She has a a beautiful voice and you can really feel the cool, French vibe from her spoken word at the middle and end of her video. Check it out!
